Hitman: Absolution – Attack of the Saints trailer

Hitman: Absolution has got its awaited trailer in preparation for E3.

Yesterday we were speculating what the teaser image on the Square Enix blog could mean, and the publisher has now released the ‘Attack of the Saints’ trailer revealing that the mysterious female characters are actually a group of enemies.

The trailer shows Agent 47 patching-up himself (supposedly after a mission) in a run-down apartment, only to be interrupted by an all-female death-squad. While the numbers are stacked against our favourite bald assassin, he never goes down without a fight.

The gorgeous CGI trailer was produced by Visual Works and shows that they’re some of the best in the business.

Where the Saints will fit into the game is yet to be seen, although it could be a particular mission the bar-coded assassin will have to take on, or it could be some sort of a 8v1 multiplayer mode.

Guess we’ll wait for E3 to find out.

Hitman: Absolution launches globally on 20 November 2012.
