After numerous teases and leaks, Sony have demoed their upcoming Smash-Bros-like (and terribly named) fighting game, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, and revealed two new characters in the process.
The new characters unveiled through the trailer are Nathan Drake and a Big Daddy from Bioshock. Adding these two very different characters to the roster adds some interesting variety to the game.
For those who may not be familiar with the game, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is just like Smash Bros., in that it’s a multiplayer, side-scrolling fighter which allows you to control Playstation’s most popular characters, including the likes of Kratos, Fat Princess and Sly Cooper. Sony says you’ll also be able to play characters from third-party games that have been featured on Playstation.
Also announced was that the game will feature cross-play support, allowing PS3 and PS Vita players to play against one another.
