During Nintendo’s E3 conference it was revealed that the real-time action strategy game Pikmin 3 is heading to the Wii U.
In Pikmin 3, your Pikmin interact more dynamically with items and the environment using the default Wii Remote and Nunchuk configuration.
In this setup, an overview of the current map is displayed on the WiiU GamePad and players can adjust the part of the map shown on the TV using the touchscreen.
The WiiU GamePad can also be used exclusively to play the game.
Players can take control of up to 100 Pikmin in various gameplay modes. All games are recorded in order for players to review their strategies.
The game is expected to be available during the WiiU launch window, which is currently pegged at just in time for the holiday shopping season.
