Ubisoft have officially confirmed Rayman Legends, something that was rumoured for quite a while now.
Rayman Legends will look to follow-up the stellar, but underrated, Rayman Origins, which released late last year.
The upcoming platforming adventure is being developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, and is currently scheduled to release on Wii U.
The game will utilise the new Pro Controller and Wii U’s new touch-screen GamePad, as players can manipulate platforms and the environment using touch, along with a special character created purely to use the functionality of the Wii U GamePad.
As seen in the leaked survey, the game will also feature themed-levels that incorporate medieval and fantasy worlds, and feature 5-player co-op.
During Ubisoft’s E3 presentation, the signature Rayman style of gameplay established in Origins has evidently returned, with gorgeous environments to explore and a fantastically catchy dynamic musical soundtrack which seamlessly reacts to on-screen gaming happenings.
