Mweb GameZone, in association with Apex Interactive and Clan Connection, have decided to determine who reigns supreme – PS3 or Xbox 360 players.
The King of the Console Tournament will use Modern Warfare 3 as the benchmark, and will put players against one another in Free for All (FFA) matches to determine the top 16 spots for each console.
The first round eliminations take place on the 17th of June.
Once those 16 spots have been determined, competitors will then all meet up at the MWEB MCave on 22 June, where the battle will continue until the best 4 FFA players from each console emerge. The final 4 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 will then represent their console and battle it out to determine which platform provides the most skilful players.
Bragging rights are not the only prize on offer, as Mweb and Apex have put together some winner’s-spoils valued over R25,000, including gear from Gioteck.
