Although it has faced a depressing delay, Darksiders II is bearing down on us with its 14 August 2012 release date, and therefore there’s a few options to consider if a pre-order is on your mind.
BT Games are offering a particular option, which will give gamers an exclusive pack unavailable elsewhere.
The Death Rises DLC will feature multiple side-quests in the Maker’s Realm and Dead Plains areas in order to earn more experience and loot. Some of the quests include aiding an ancient Construct, taking of The Bloodless and retrieving Karn’s lost treasure. This means very little considering we don’t know much of the story for Darksiders II yet, although it all sounds pretty cool.
The retail price from BT Games for the Darksiders II Limited Edition is R599.99 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions, while PC slides in at R399.99.
Darksiders II Death Rides Pack
On the other hand, Kalahari are offering their own exclusive, as pre-ordering from the online retailer will give players access to the Deadly Despair pack. The DLC will add an additional speed boost to Death’s trusty steed Despair, which will get Death from A to B a little quicker. The perk will last throughout the whole game.
The retail price from Kalahari for the Darksiders II Limited Edition is also set at R599.99 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions, while PC will set you back R399.99.
Darksiders II Death's Despair
All Limited Editions will come with the Argul’s Tomb DLC pack, although pre-ordering from BT or Kalahari will give you some additional content respectively; while there’s also a Collector’s Edition that was detailed in late May.
