Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) and PolarfluKe have teamed up to bring the 2012 MSSA Online StarCraft II Championship to fruition this year.
The tournament itself is built around a Swiss Rounds structure, with any affiliated or registered MSSA players welcome to enter.
Day 1 and 2 of the Swiss Rounds will be happening on the 7th and 8th of July respectively, with the tournament running on the European Battle.net server.
The tournament is being considered a provincial championship, therefore awarding colours, medals and qualification rights to future National team trials.
MSSA are also sending a team to participate in the 2012 IeSF’s World Championship from 4 to 8 October 2012, with the team consisting of one male and one female StarCraft II player; and if you’re interested in making the team, the upcoming championship is a good place to try out, given that a gamer who makes an impression will likely be chosen.
For more info on the championship, head over to PolarfluKe’s website.
MSSA is an affiliate of the South African Confederation of Sport and Olympic Committee.
