Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) has announced that their partnership with StarCraft II tournament organisers PolarfluKe will be extended to hosting the 2012 MSSA Online Schools Starcraft II Championship.
Tournament Structure

Eligibility to enter
- Only learners who are registered at any high school may enter. Registration forms must still be completed and submitted, but any learner that enters does not need to be a Registered Player.
- Participants of a minor age must get a guardian to submit a letter of consent via email along with their entry for the tournament.
- Participants must own a legal version of Starcraft 2.
- Participants must be South African citizens.
Registration
- Registration for the championship must be done on the PolarfluKe website.
- Registrations shall close on 30 June 2012 at 13H30.
When and Where
- 30 June 2012 – Day 1 of Swiss Rounds.
- 1 July 2012 – Day 2 of Swiss Rounds.
- The tournament will run via the European Battle.net server.
Accolades
The championship is accredited as being of the same status as a provincial championship. This means that the championship shall be used for the following:
- The awarding of provincial colours.
- The awarding of medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for both men and women.
MSSA is an affiliate of the South African Confederation of Sport and Olympic Committee.
