A few weeks ago, Amazon UK seemed to let the cat out of the bag early by listing the Wii U on their website with a pricing and release date attached.
We were skeptical, and rightly so, as another contradicting listing has appeared on Amazon Germany’s online store.
The page shows the Wii U to be priced at EUR 399,99 (about R4,200*), which is a relatively larger tag than that of £199.99 (around R2,600*).
It’s a little more of a believable price given what the system comes with, but that isn’t all that the Amazon page is giving up.
According to the listing, the release date for the console is 21 December 2012, which could make sense, given that Christmas would be mere days away.
We’re pretty excited for Wii U, as well as Crytek, after the studio head mentioned that the Wii U is more powerful than that of the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Hopefully gamers get to hear a legitimate price range soon.

I will Die if that is the Price, if the price is that high, Nintendo will make the same mistake as they did with the 3DS, they won’t sell much, if its priced at 249-299 euros it will sell like hotcakes.
