Proving once again that anything can happen in Japan, Capcom has announced it’s opening a Resident Evil themed restaurant in Tokyo next month, ahead of the October launch of Resident Evil 6. Contagion and fine cuisine, together at last.
According to a report over on Adriasang, the predictably awkwardly-named Biohazard Cafe & Grill S.T.A.R.S will be selling “limited items” to fans, and host performances from Dance Team S.T.A.R.S. Angelique, who doesn’t turn up on a Google search, so I don’t have any more intel about that. Maybe it’s a secret government project or something. Maybe just looking for it on Google has flagged me for investigation. I’d better stock up on ammo, and get my cat into his hazmat suit, just in case.
No information has been revealed about the menu, but if it doesn’t feature Ashley Graham steaks, made from 100% real Ashley Graham, I’ll be so disappointed.
The restaurant opens on Friday, 13 July, and will apparently be doing business for only one year. I assume that’s when Biohazard Cafe & Grill S.T.A.R.S X: Chronicles will launch.
