Last week, news emerged of a possible Expendables video game that was set to tie into the upcoming big-screen sequel.
An Australian classification outed the game’s existence, and now some gameplay has completely blown the game’s cover.
The game is basically a run-and-gun shoot-’em-up and looks like it features four-player co-op, as well as being loud, violent and ridiculous – just like the movie.
Gamers and fans of the original film would probably understand why the Expendables would make a good video game, as the film itself is an homage to cheesy action movies from the 80′s – i.e. lots of explosions, lots of one-liners and a ton of cringe-worthy moments.
The upcoming all-action sequel stars Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and is hitting theatres in August.
Hopefully this mission ends with a “GET TO THE CHOPPAAA!” from Schwarzenegger.
