Blizzard has a lot to show off at this year’s Gamescom, where players will be allowed to play both the upcoming WoW expansion Mists of Pandaria as well as upcoming Starcraft 2 game Heart of the Swarm.
The Mists of Pandaria demo will let players have a look around the starting zone and test out the new character class, the monk. In addition to this Blizzard will be premiering the game’s opening cinematic – and if there’s one thing Blizzard can do, its cinematics.
Starcraft fans will be able to get their hands on all three race’s new units in what Blizzard describes as a “multiplayer demo”.
There’ll be plenty of other stuff going on too, with everything from developer signing sessions to a live orchestra playing music from Blizzard’s games.
There’ll also be a lot of e-sports entertainment, including Starcraft II pros going head to head and top World of Warcraft guilds doing live dungeon raids.
Man, if only it wasn’t in Germany; there’s even a dance competition!
