The Assassin’s Creed series has always prided itself on providing historical backgrounds to the sci-fi/stabbing action that fuels the series.
For ACIII, Ubisoft are highlighting the Revolutionary War and struggle of the American countrymen and woman who fought for their freedom and independence, as a backdrop to the on-going war between the assassins and Templars.
The latest trailer “Rise” follows on from yesterday’s “Independence”, and plays out in a live-action sequence, showing a lot of the reactions and emotion towards the British.
The video puts perspective into what the game’s hero, Connor, will be fighting for, along with his torn devotion to his native American roots.
