… Unless you still have your saved game from the first Borderlands game, anyway.
That’s right, Vault hunters! Just when you thought that whole business with the Vault had been a waste of time, it turns out it wasn’t. I mean, sure, maybe things didn’t turn out quite the way you’d expected, but at least your efforts will be rewarded the next time around. Better late than never, as they say, although I’d probably put Crawmerax on the “never” list.
According to a promotional image posted over on Gearbox’s official community site, Gearboxity, Borderlands 2 adds “exclusive heads and skins” to the game if it detects a save file from the first one. Which kind of sounds a bit gruesome, but the image shows special character heads and skins, not a bunch of slaughtered skags. Ohhhh.
Borderlands 2 is out for PC and consoles in September.
