Online retailers really have a knack for jumping-the-gun, but it’s alright, because we get an idea of when to possibly expect some of those big games with mysterious release dates publishers keep quiet about.
The latest victim of retail-leakage is Splinter Cell: Blacklist; Amazon UK briefly listed Ubisoft’s next big title in the series with a 29 March, 2013, release date attached to it.
The listing also revealed the steel-cased Splinter Cell: Blacklist Upper Echelon Edition, which features bonus digital content that includes a special suit, golden goggles and an extra mission.
While Ubisoft haven’t given official word on the release date, Splinter Cell: Blacklist is set to hit Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with a Wii U version also rumoured.
