World of Warcraft argument leads to stabbing

Studies have failed to show that game violence can turn into real violence, but Canadian resident Justin Williams is making a good case for it anyway.

Following an argument about World of Warcraft, Williams stabbed his neighbour, Jordan Osbourne, when Osbourne tried to calm him down. Osbourne had not even been involved in the argument, but had investigated the noise coming from next door.

“I was telling him, there is no need for you to be freaking out about World of Warcraft. It’s just a game,” Osbourne later told local news site, The Ottawa Sun. “He said, ‘It’s not just a game, it’s my life.’”

IT’S MY LIFE, IT’S NOW OR NEVER, I AIN’T GONNA LIVE FOREVER.

Williams then allegedly grabbed Osbourne by the throat, and knifed him in the sternum for an undetermined number of damage points per second. He’s been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon, and will be in court next week. Somehow, everybody else will have to find a way to keep on raiding without him.
