The latest Borderlands 2 trailer has accomplished two things – it delivers a lot of good gameplay footage, while playing the catchy tune of “The Lions Sleeps Tonight”, and it comes together beautifully.
Having a little less “wubwub” in a trailer is a refreshing change, and Gearbox’s open-world RPG/shooter is looking gorgeous, with it’s over-the-top action, colourful visuals and special abilities for each character.
Gearbox also recently revealed that Borderlands 1 players will unlock special costumes in Borderlands 2 with their save file.
Borderlands 2 is set for a 21 September 2012 release for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
