After receiving a lot of feedback from PC gamers, EA have announced that their Origin service will be getting a large update within the coming days.
This update 9.0 “landmark” revision will include a number of interface additions. Firstly, gamers’ friends lists will now be free-floating, allowing users to move the window wherever they like, along with the navigation menu being swapped out for a pull-down menu.
In terms of game libraries, the size of game icons will be enhanced, allowing players to change the size of their game images to their heart’s desire.
An in-game clock has also been added to the update – apparently a highly-requested feature.
Origin 9.0 will be available shortly, although users can try it out today by logging into their accounts and opting in to test out the new version.
