Resident Evil 6 Comic Con trailer puts the horror back into the series

19 July 2012

Capcom have released a new Resident Evil 6 trailer in celebration of the publisher’s presence at the San Diego Comic Con.

The video shows off a bit of gameplay footage that emphasises the game’s horror elements – an area that the community feels Capcom is possibly neglecting.

Set 15 years after the Raccoon City incident, Resident Evil 6 features Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield and newcomer Jake Muller as playable characters for three interwoven stories travelling from the infected American town of Tall Oaks to China.

Xbox 360 owners of Dragon’s Dogma are lucky enough to have access to the Resident Evil 6 demo, which gave gamers a chance to try out a snippet from the three different campaigns.

Resident Evil 6 will be available from 2 October on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC release will follow, but has not yet been dated.
