As the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, so we get a new Call of Duty title every Christmas. However, it appears the FPS giant may be losing some of its swagger, as a Nielsen survey shows that Xbox 360 owners are more excited for Halo 4 than the next CoD offering.
While Black Ops 2 is in fact the most anticipated PS3 title, Master Chief elbows it into second place on Microsoft’s hardware.
There aren’t many more surprises in the upper echelon – top spots are occupied by Assassin’s Creed 3, Madden NFL 13, Darksiders 2 and Resident Evil 6 on both platforms.
These results are taken from a sample of 4,823 male and female “active gamers”, between the ages of 7 and 54.
Things are a little sad in camp Wii, where the most anticipated game is… Just Dance 4. We’re not judging Nintendo owners, it isn’t the greatest selection.

Of course! It’s the Master Chief back for a fourth installment of kicking @ss and taking names. There is just something about the Halo gameplay, it’s something you have to experience to appreciate, hell even my wife clocked Halo 3.
Okay it was co-op with me and on normal difficulty and dam it was boring but she finished the entire thing and she doesn’t even play games.
