Humble Music Bundle promo launched

Taking a detour from its regular Humble Indie Bundle schedule, the nice people over at Humble Bundle have launched a Humble Music Bundle this month – it’s the same pay-whatever-you-want deal you know and love, but instead of games, you get music. Simple!

The Humble Music Bundle includes collections of music from geek superstars like They Might Be Giants, Jonathan Coulton, and MC Frontalot, as well as the Valkyria Chronicles soundtrack, and Christopher Tin’s debut album, Calling All Dawns, featuring the Civilization IV theme.

If you buy the lot at more than the average purchasing price (currently at $8.07), you’ll also get OK Go’s Twelve Remixes of Four Songs in the mix. The mix? More like – record scratch! – megamix. Mmm, untz, yeah, get down, wacka-wacka-wacka.

You can divvy up your donation cash between the musos, Child’s Play Charity and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, or even the Humble Bundle team. You control the spice.

As usual, all the content is DRM free, and available in both FLAC and MP3 formats.

Go on, do it.
