Cyanide, developer of the Game of Thrones game, is working on a new PC strategy game called Impire, which is due for release in Q1 next year.

Players will take the role of a demonic lord with the unfortunate name of Baal-Abaddon, who has been trapped in the body of a lowly imp by an incompetent sorcerer who messed up the summoning spell. It’s like Clive Barker meets the Wayans Brothers.

Baal-Abaddon makes the most of his physical shortcomings by quickly becoming the most powerful imp in the community. Players must use this position of power to protect the imps’ home from being overrun by Good. To do this you’ll have to lay traps, learn spells, command troops and build a fortress.

Impire will have support for co-op play and multiplayer, in addition to its standard single-player mode.
