A new rumour has surfaced courtesy of Gametrailers regarding the much-speculated price of the Wii U. Gametrailers claim to have heard the price through “certain channels”, but aren’t offering up any other info on their source.
This does however correspond with a similar report that cited a “senior publishing source” put the cost at under 250 pounds.
In addition to this, Japanese business paper Nikkei made a previous claim that the console will cost 30,000 yen, which also converts to around 250 pounds.
With all these predictions being roughly in line with each other, it’s definitely giving a more clear indication that we may indeed be expecting a price point close to that which has been rumoured.
Unless of course you count outlier Amazon, who began taking pre-orders at 199 pounds before being forced to cancel them and admit they didn’t know the price.
