If Valentine’s day isn’t making February 2013 scary enough for you, then prepare your adult diapers, because Dead Space 3 is landing down for a European release on February 8, 2013.
Dead Space 3 isn’t as lonely as the previous titles were, as the third iteration introduces some gnarly co-op play, so you get to share the scares with a friend. But don’t make the mistake of thinking the game will be any less terrifying.
To the press-blurb:
“From the lonely depths of space, to a graveyard of derelict spaceships, to a frozen planet with brutal conditions, Dead Space 3 takes action and terror to incredible new heights. In Dead Space 3, the fate of mankind rests in the hands of engineer Isaac Clarke and his new merciless co-op partner, John Carver.”
While the game has supposedly shifted from survival-horror and the crushing sense claustraphobia to a more action-oriented shoot-fest with a friend, series developers, Visceral Games, are promising all-new Necromorphs, gigantic boss creatures and even misguided zealot humans.
There are also murmurings of pre-order bonuses in the form of additional suits and weapons, but we’ll confirm that as soon as we’ve checked with the local retailers.
Call your therapist, and get ready for Dead Space 3 on 8 February, 2013.
