Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has finally been given a release date.
The next entry in the Metal Gear universe is set to arrive on local shores come 21 February 2013.
A new trailer released today at Gamescom, shown below, introduces the war-torn landscape Raiden must navigate in this hack-and-slash spin-off from the main series. Ninja-cyborg Raiden must use his bushido skills and mechanical body enhancements to bring justice to “a world gone wrong.”
Being developed by Platinum Games (Vanquish, Bayonetta), the goal for Rising was to allow players to actually do the things that gamers could only watch in cutscenes in previous Metal Gear games.
