Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) launched last night, and will no doubt spawn a whole new generation of CS junkies.
The CS brand has been a cornerstone of online competitive gaming for over a decade. If you’re new to the franchise, it is essentially a multi-player modern-combat FPS, using team-based objectives.
South Africa’s Gaming Service Providers (GSPs) have stepped up to offer servers. Below is a list of the servers currently live for CS: GO if you want to dive into the action.
iGame Online

- iGame Militia 20 Player Casual Bomb Defusal

“We plan to launch another two servers to cater for our existing Counter-Strike community who will likely migrate to the newer title relatively soon. For now, we have basic configurations on our servers, we will most likely add new features to them soon. We look forward to hearing the community’s feedback,” said Robert Tait, WAGE Games Master.

CS: GO has launched on Windows PC, Mac OS X, Xbox 360 (via XBLA) and PS3 (via PSN). Originally planned for cross-platform play between PC and Xbox 360, that idea has been shelved due to the technicality of such a system.
