Core Group, official distributor of Pokémon products in South Africa, has announced the Battle Roads Autumn Premier Tournament for the Pokémon trading card game.
For the first time ever, South Africa will hold a premier event of this nature, whereby Pokémon players will have the opportunity to earn Championship points. The event will take place as follows:
- 25th August – Look & Listen Fourways, Johannesburg
- 31st August – Garsfontein Recreational Centre, Pretoria
After Battle Roads, tournaments will be held in Leagues around the country called “Proving Grounds” and winners within specific age groups will win an invitation to play in the South African National Championships to be held at rAge 2012.
