King of Footie puts SA FIFA skills to the test

Musica and Mweb have teamed up to bring the King of Footie competition to local gamers.

Players will battle it out to see who’s the king of the virtual pitch, by competing in qualifiers scattered around the country.

Contestants who win their qualifiers will win a trip to Cape Town to play the finals at the Mweb FIFA 13 launch, taking place on 28 September 2012 at the Mweb MCave.

It’s not clear whether the final will be played on FIFA 12 or FIFA 13, but details regarding those specifics should be available soon.

Prizes include an Xbox 360 console, bundled with FIFA 13.

The Musica King of Footie Tournament is taking place at the following participating Musica stores.

Cape Town:

  • Canal Walk – 8th September 2012
  • Cavendish – 9th September 2012

Johannesburg:

  • Rosebank – 16th September 2012

Durban:

  • Westville – 22nd September 2012

Registrations for each of the events will open at 12h30, with entry being free.

Seats are limited, so get there ASAP to make sure you’re in on the action.

Golden Ticket

If you’re not backing your FIFA skills, but want to be part of the event, Musica and Mweb are also offering the chance for 30 lucky entrants to win a trip to the FIFA 13 launch and King of Footie final.
