Fallout-themed marriage proposal hits you right in the feels

5 September 2012

Pretty much everybody already knows that I have a hand grenade where my heart’s supposed to be, but even I thought this Fallout-themed wedding proposal at PAX Prime was, like, kind of a bit cute, maybe, if you’re a 12-year old girl or something. *Sniff*. Uh, that was definitely my cat sniffing, not me.

Destructoid reader and Fallout fan Trevor proposed to his girlfriend Alisha at the Seattle expo over the weekend with a rather elaborate setup including the Bethesda booth people, a locked ammo box, some bobby pins, and a critical success on a Speech skill check:

Over on Reddit, Alisha explains that, “I met Trevor when I got a job at the local Game Crazy (back when those existed). He seemed to have perfect timing, since every day I worked he just happened to come in; I found out later that my co-workers were helping him out by telling him when my shifts were. After a few weeks of him massively upping my sales, he asked me out. We’ve been together for three years.”

Aaaaawwwwwww.
