MainGaming has announced that their MainGaming Interactive Challenge grand final will be taking place at Killarney Mall, Johannesburg, over the weekend of 29 and 30 September 2012.
The grand final will see the culmination of a country-wide tour to find the best PlayStation 3 players in both FIFA 12 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
For FIFA 12, there are over R200,000 worth of prizes on the table, including LCD TVs, cellphones, consoles, games, gaming peripheral, and the ultimate cash prize of R25,000. Qualifying participants will battle it out, 1 versus 1, until the winner reigns supreme.
The Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 MainGaming League Grand Final takes place on Sunday, 30 September. Of the 31, 4-6 person teams that participate in the league, the winning team will walk away with a R50,000 sponsorship contract, courtesy of Comet Computing and MainGaming.
All finalists from outside the Grand Final city of Johannesburg will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to attend.
For those who haven’t qualified, but aren’t happy sitting in the viewing gallery, MainGaming has lined up a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 qualifier that will take place on the 30th September.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is also part of a nationwide MainGaming roadshow, with many prizes and a cash prize of R5,000 up for grabs. Entry into this tournament is free.
