SA’s first Pokemon National Champs comes to rAge

18 September 2012

While you’ve been sitting quietly in your home, little did you know that 10 of the 11 official Pokémon leagues around the country have been battling it out to grab a place in the finals of the TCG National Championship.

The finals will take place at the rAge 2012 gaming expo, and will be played in front of a live audience.

50 players will be trying to outwit one another for the prestigious title of champion, in the Senior, Masters and Junior Division categories respectively.

For those of you who may not consider themselves a Poké-master, there will be “Learn to Play! Pokémon” workshops held at rAge, in order to introduce a larger audience to the game.

To register for the workshop, and to receive a free starter deck, e-mail [email protected] by Friday, 28th September.

rAge is taking place from 5 October – 7 October 2012.
