Borrowing the big idea from Kickstarter (probably), Steam’s pre-order incentives for Company of Heroes 2 includes heaps of extra stuff that will unlock only when a certain number of pre-orders have been made. More bang for everybody’s buck.
Pre-ordering the game right now will guarantee you beta access when it launches, as well two in-game tanks.
The next level adds some caps and badges for Team Fortress 2, then a free copy of Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II: Retribution (for yourself or a friend), and finally something called the Company of Heroes 2 Commissar Chest, which includes:
