The Walking Dead retail release stumbling into shops

25 September 2012

While still currently being released an episodic format, The Walking Dead is all ready-set-braaaaaains to be rounded up and herded onto a disc for retail release.

Telltale Games has confirmed that the five previously launched episodes which make up Season 1 will be included on a single disc, and shamble into US stores on 4 December, with an EU date currently TBA.

No price has been confirmed, but Telltale’s other bundle including the Back to the Future episodes was priced at $20, so expect The Walking Dead to be priced around the same.

Telltale also confirmed that a second Walking Dead season is in the works, with Episode 4 of the first season still on its way to PC, PSN and Xbox Live.

Lots of fun, great narrative, awesome characters (which they seem to love killing off) and a fair bit of (admittedly not always real) choice.
