Hong Kong publisher eastasiasoft will be bringing its PSN-exclusive PS3 game Rainbow Moon to Vita in 2013.

If you’ve never played it, Rainbow Moon is a strategy RPG which was released on the Playstation Store in July this year. It got fairly positive reviews upon release, hovering around the 7-8 out of 10 mark.

CEO of the developer SideQuest Studios, Marcus Pukropski, said, “All the feedback that we have received for Rainbow Moon during the last few months has been tremendous, and I hope that today’s announcement will make a lot of Vita owners and Rainbow Moon fans happy.”

The game definitely seems handheld-friendly, and the Vita is in dire need of some appealing titles to pull more consumers towards it.

Rainbow Moon was the second highest-selling game on the PS Store in its release month, so there should be a definite fan base out there that will be excited for this release. Are smaller games such as this enough to pull you towards purchasing a Vita?
