Valve is rolling-out the first set of software products for its Steam service, marking a “major expansion” for the online distribution service.
The added software packages include ArtRage Studio Pro, GameMaker: Studio, and 3D-Coat among others, and will use Steamworks features, like auto-update and cloud saving.
Valve originally announced that software items were coming to Steam in September, and although they’ve arrived a little later than scheduled, the programs are a welcomed addition for the platform.
The celebrate the occasion, Valve is offering Software packages for half-price throughout this week.
Software available now:
- ArtRage Studio Pro
- CameraBag 2
- GameMaker: Studio
- 3D-Coat
- 3DMark Vantage
- 3DMark 11
