It is now official that Assassin’s Creed III will include a Season Pass option, confirming earlier rumours.
In a listing for a “Gold Edition” on the US PlayStation Blog’s PS Store update, the description includes the Season Pass.
The Gold Edition will cost $89.99, while the standalone version is on sale for $59.99, suggesting that the Season Pass will cost around $30.
Ubisoft did confirm that Assassin’s Creed III will receive a number of DLCs (likely to include multiplayer DLC packs) post-launch, although no details on these expansions are known.
Assassin’s Creed III is out for Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 30th in North America and 31 October 2012 in Europe and South Africa. The game hits PC on 23 November.
