A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… wait no, I got that bit wrong. In fact, it was just this past weekend and right here on Planet Earth, that Angry Birds: Star Wars became a thing that is actually going to happen.
Angry Birds: Star Wars punts the same avian-flinging action we all know and love, but with Star Wars sets and dress-up. It sounds like some sort of weird fetish listing on Craiglist, but it’s just another Angry Birds game for iOS, Android devices, and PC, and scheduled to launch on 8 November.
According to USA Today, the game will feature locations from the Star Wars films, including Tatooine and Hoth, as well as Imperial-themed piggies.
At the same time, Hasbro has also just announced the inevitable tie-in line of Angry Birds: Star Wars plush toys and board games, featuring an Angry Birds: Star Wars Jenga Death Star and Star Wars Angry Birds AT-AT Attack Battle Game.
