Deadlight PC launch date announced

8 October 2012

Just in time for Halloween, Tequila Works’ post-apocalyptic survival horror platformer Deadlight will be walking among the living on PC later this month.

The game will be launched on Steam on 25 October, and according to the press stuff, the PC version includes “improved graphics” and a new nightmare difficulty mode, made special for PC gamers who are all about improved graphics and hard difficulty modes, as well as the full original soundtrack for keepsies.

Deadlight is set in an alternate world-gone-to-zombie-hell version of 1986, on the US Pacific coast. Protagonist Randall Wayne has survived the viral outbreak, but become separated from his wife and kid and must find them again by running from left to right, climbing strategically convenient ladders, and not getting caught by the lurching hordes of undead brain-gobblers. Just another day at the office, you know.

No price has been confirmed yet, but the game goes for $15 on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, so expect to pay about the same on Steam.
