Battlefield: Bad Company heads to TV

9 October 2012

When playing Battlefield: Bad Company, most people must’ve thought: “this will make a great TV show”.

Apparently FOX thought so too, as the network has reportedly begun production on an “action comedy” TV series based on EA’s Battlefield spin-off series, Bad Company.

The TV series will be handled by Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Maddison, with Alias writer and executive producer John Eisendrath onboard for scriptwriting duty.

The show is said to follow “four renegade soldiers as they exit military life and enter the private sector. But trouble is never far behind as they realize their commanding officer had used them to further the ends of a shadow unit within the government and now wants them dead to cover his tracks.”

EA’s Patrick Bach and Patrick O’Brien are also involved in the project.
