Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday 2upGamers, happy birthday to youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! Okay, so technically it’s not actually today, but 2upGamers is turning one next week and everybody’s invited to the party.
It’s happening next Friday at the WP Cricket Pavilion on Campground Road in Newlands, R80 gets you in, and things get started at 7 PM. It doesn’t say anything on the event page about bringing presents, but it doesn’t say anything about supplying a Gears of War-themed ice-cream cake either, so I guess those cancel each other out.
Guests on the special night include:
- Electronic Arts – Launching Need For Speed Most Wanted
- Apex Interactive – Showcasing Turtle Beach, New Gioteck range & Toxic Bunny
- Cube IT – Adding PCs to the event
- Gecosports – Hosting their Street Fighter Finals
Some sort of supper will be provided as usual, and there will also be a cash bar for celebratory boozing.
The 2upGamers’ website is currently down for potty training (or something), but in the meantime, you can book your place over on the Eventbrite page.
