Former Gears of War designer and Epic Games design director Cliff Bleszinski has dropped Capcom an indirect message offering his services to help “fix” Resident Evil 6.
Capcom released Resident Evil 6 to mixed reviews, with most gamers and critics feeling like it’s a departure from the series’ roots.
“Hey, Capcom. Call me,” he wrote on his Twitter feed. “We can fix Resident Evil. Together.”
Bleszinski left Epic Games earlier this month after working at the company for 20 years, claiming that he needed to take a break before tackling the “next stage” of his career.
According to GameSpot, Bleszinski has visited the offices of Activision, Zynga, Double Fine, and Electronic Arts. He has also met with God of War and Twisted Metal designer David Jaffe since leaving Epic earlier this month.
While a very different experience, MyGaming enjoyed Resident Evil 6 thoroughly, scoring the large-scale action-horror with an 85%
