While PC, Mac and iOS gamers continue to question when it’s going to drop, the Enhanced Edition of the highly-acclaimed Baldur’s Gate is finally aiming at a release date.
The game was initially delayed to 30 November, but Trent Oster, Creative Director at Overhaul Games confirmed a shorter wait via Twitter.
“We’re busting our butts to make the PC version awesome, and it is, so we’re hopeful,” he wrote in another tweet. “But there is no column for hope in a spreadsheet. I’d rather fill that column with awesome reality.”
Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition includes a touched-up Infinity Engine and the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion. Also included is mod support, DLC, new characters, a higher level cap and cross-platform multiplayer.
