Over the last week, South African professional gamer Rob “PandaTank” Botha has been competing in the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) in Porte de Versailles, Paris.
Botha managed to impress with his mouse-clicking skills at the prestigious event, and broke into the StarCraft II top 16 before advancing even further.
Botha shocked two strong competitors before facing-off against last year’s winner Ilyes ‘Stephano’ Satouri, whom he unfortunately fell to in a 2-1 defeat.
Congratulations to Rob for making the quarter-finals and showing the pedigree of South African e-sports.
PandaTank will now make his way to the prestigious Razer gaming academy in Los Angeles, California, in order to hone his skills and progress his gaming career further.
