Headlines this week were once again dominated by news regarding Infinity Ward’s soon to be released military FPS, Modern Warfare 2 (MW2).

First a gameplay video emerged showing off a new third person game play mode. Activision later confirmed that third person mode would in fact be present in MW2.

Then another video surfaced showing off one of the game’s early missions. The controversial footage shows a player taking on the role of a terrorist as they casually stroll through a busy airport slaughtering civilians.

Activision later provided context for the footage by explaining how, when and why it will be implemented.

Local console pricing comparison

We compared the pricing of different home consoles across a variety of local retailers, and found that apart from a few subtle variations, pricing seems to be consistently regulated.
