Help decide if Mass Effect 4 should be a sequel or prequel

21 November 2012

The development and production of the next Mass Effect is something that BioWare wants to share with fans, and after asking a number of questions, Mass Effect producer Casey Hudson has asked if you want a prequel or sequel.

Hudson asked via Twitter whether the next game should run before the original trilogy, or explore the time-frame after the events of Mass Effect 3.

Bioware also recently revealed that development duties have moved over to BioWare Montreal, as the Canadian studio will take over the franchise from BioWare Edmonton.

The next ME game will run on a beefed-up version of the Frostbite engine, and it will be “enhanced by some of the systems the Dragon Age III team has already spent a lot of time building.”

Hudson has also previously mentioned that he has had a lot of feedback from gamers who want to play as an alien race.
