SA-developed Bladeslinger out now on iOS

Local game development studio Luma Arcade has launched its wild, wild west-sexy cowboys ‘n’ demons shooter Bladeslinger for iOS.

The game is set in a dystopian future where monsters have taken over Hammer’s Peak, a town obviously in serious need of the proverbial new sheriff. That’s you, William Glaston – scholar, gentleman, and crack shot. Can you save Hammer’s Peak and One-Eye, Three-Leg Billy-Bob Cornballer’s moonshine still? Or maybe just Hammer’s Peak for now, so there’s something left over for the sequel.

According to the official blurb, the Unity-powered game “introduces graphics features never seen before on mobile devices”, and looking at some of the screenshots, it’s ain’t no idle boastin’.

And don’t let me catch you lollygaggin’ around my saloon no more, varmint.

Bladeslinger is optimised for the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and  iPad 3, but is also supported on iPhone 4 and iPad 2.
