  • Quad Core CPU not quad core GPU.

  • Very high specs and the possibility that I might not even be able to play it… This might actually be a real Crysis game not that crap that was labeled Crysis 2 -_-

  • lets hope so coz crysis 2 graphics were really pathetic compared to crysis 1

So, DX11 only cards? That mean my GTX285 won’t run it?

Played the multiplayer alpha a few weeks ago…
The game scales well (even for an alpha), but yes, DX11 only.
It does look pretty! even at lower settings. But it was not yet optimized so could not fully use my crossfire setup. Thus I could not push the gfx up to max.

    lol @ console requirements.

  • GamingGenius

You obviously didn’t do the DX11 patch

  • gg

    670 SLI, not worried

  • GamingGenius

The mod scene will probably pull out a patch that makes it workable. I remember a few years back when games started shipping with shader model 3.0 as a requirement, there were still a good bunch of powerful cards out there that were more than capable of handling the newer games but were restricted to shader model 2… The mod scene fixed that

*sigh* Back to the BIOS for some more OC’ing…

  • Glordit

Not too worried the difference between High and Max will be minimal, you’ll have to take a few screen shots to see the actual comparison, in game most people miss finer details while playing.

  • I obviously did and it was still kak

  • Saint_Dee

This. It’s especially true on the competitive side. I’m not too phased about the difference either.

  • Draco Lusus

Shot, thanks. Will just have to wait I guess.
