SA gaming star honoured

12 December 2012

The MSSA has awarded the 2012 Mind Sports Player of the Year award to a local professional player that has excelled throughout the year.

Robert “PandaTank” Botha has been awarded the title, and fittingly so, as the hard-working Botha has had made waves in the local and international gaming scenes in 2012.

Botha represented South Africa as a member of the Gigabyte Protea eSports team, as well as competing in the Electronic Sports World Cup in France in November.

PandaTank will now make his way to the prestigious Razer gaming academy in Los Angeles, California, in order to hone his skills and progress his gaming career further.

MyGaming wants to congratulate Rob well on his achievements throughout the year, and we hope to hear of some cross-country pwnage taking place.
