Zynga has pulled 11 games amidst struggling times for the social game maker, putting the company’s plans of world domination on hold indefinitely.
Zynga originally announced that it would shut down 13 of its under-performing games, with a new focus shifting to mobile gaming.
Some of the victims include Mafia Wars 2, Vampire Wars, Forestville, FishVille, and most recently, PetVille.
As expected, users have taken to Facebook to voice their upset at the closure of PetVille.
“Well I can’t even take a picture of my White Tigers I lost cause they are already gone, this sucks,” said Patricia Coultrap, who’s disheartened at the lack of photographic evidence of her virtual pets.
Users are also hoping that the next casualty isn’t of FarmVille, as George Mitchell promises to “walk backwards into hell” if FarmVille shuts down.
