The USB-sized GameStick console has already reached its Kickstarter campaign goal, with 28 days left to spare.
The campaign required $100,000, but the team over at PlayJam have accumulated over $150,000 in backing (and counting).
“Thank you so much to the Kickstarter Community for helping us reach our goal on just Day 2!! We are humbled and excited! What a start to the New Year,”, said PlayJam on the Kickstarter page.
The GameStick is PlayJam’s shot at a new Android-based gaming device.
The GameStick plugs directly into the HDMI slot of most modern HD TVs, and the developers are saying that they have at least 200 games that will work on the GameStick.
The controller was also an important facet of developing the GameStick, and looks somewhat like the Wii’s classic controller.
So now that things look like they’re happening for PlayJam, will you be picking up a GameStick?
